The news radar, in your code and your AI tools.

EarlyWave groups articles from tens of thousands of sources into stories as they break. Read them over a REST API, or let Claude, Cursor and VS Code read them over MCP.

Included with Pro and Max. See plans.

  • 18 read-only operations
  • 10,000 requests a month on Pro, 50,000 on Max
  • OpenAPI 3.1 contract

What you can read

Trends from every source. Your own data.

Trends are EarlyWave's catalogue: every key sees the same ones. Monitors, feeds and saved items belong to the account that owns the key.

Trends across every source

Stories as they form, filtered by the country they are about, the countries of their publishers, category, stage and reach.

GET /trendslist_trends

Coverage by country

Which countries and languages cover a story, who published first, and how it grew hour by hour over seven days.

GET /trends/{id}/coverageget_trend_coverage

Your monitors

What each monitor found, with its sources and the current answers to its questions.

GET /monitors/{id}/resultsget_monitor_results

Your feeds and articles

Your subscriptions, folders and their articles with full text, and a search across every feed EarlyWave reads.

GET /feedssearch_articles

Your saved items

The articles, pages and searches you saved, newest first.

GET /savedlist_saved

Quickstart

Running in three steps.

  1. 1

    Create a key

In Settings › API & MCP, name a key and pick its scopes: rest, mcp or both. It is shown only once.

    Open Settings
  2. 2

    Call the API

Send the key as a Bearer token. Answers are JSON; every error has the same shape.

    curl
    curl "https://api.earlywave.ai/api/v1/trends?country=FR&limit=3" \
      -H "Authorization: Bearer $EARLYWAVE_API_KEY"
  3. 3

    Connect MCP

Add the server to Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code or Claude Desktop, then ask in plain words.

    Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http earlywave https://api.earlywave.ai/mcp \
      --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY"

Documentation

Everything is written down.

For coding agents

The docs also exist as plain text for Claude Code, Cursor and other agents: llms.txt, llms-full.txt, and each page as Markdown. The contract is the OpenAPI document.

Included with Pro and Max

The REST API and the MCP server come with Pro (10,000 requests a month, 60 a minute) and Max (50,000 a month, 300 a minute), shared by both and by every key of the account.
